External Links Modifier is a lightweight WordPress plugin that automatically modifies external links in your post content so that they open in a new tab and include the attributes rel="nofollow noreferrer". - Upload the
external-links-modifierfolder to the/wp-content/plugins/directory. - Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress.
- Edit a post and locate the External Links Modifier Settings meta box in the post editor. Check or uncheck the box to enable or disable the external links modifications for that post.
- Save or update your post.
