You can disable the tools via the plugin settings page. Upload the plugin to your blog and activate 2. Visit the plugin settings to use the tools [More info on installing WP plugins](https://wordpress.org/documentation/article/manage-plugins/#installing-plugins-1) To use the database tools: 1. Visit the plugin settings page 2. Check the box to “Enable database tools” and then click “Save Changes” 3. Then click the link that says, “Open WP Database Tools” (opens new tab) After accessing the database tools page, you can either “repair” the database, or“ repair and optimize” the database. **Important!** Remember to disable the database tools when you are finished using them! To disable the database tools: 1. Visit the plugin settings page 2. Uncheck the box to “Enable database tools” and then click “Save Changes” 3. Done!
